Zoë Charlton (Baltimore, MD) creates figure drawings, collages, installations, and animations that depict her subject’s relationship to culturally loaded objects and landscapes. Charlton received her MFA degree from the University of Texas at Austin and participated in residencies, including Artpace Residency (TX), McColl Center for Art + Innovation (NC), Ucross Foundation (WY), the Skowhegan School of Painting (ME), and the Patterson Residency at the Creative Alliance (MD).

The notion that art could be a practice of living inquiry led Dr. Barney to seek and obtain a PhD in Curriculum Studies with an emphasis on Art Education from the University of British Columbia, where he taught communications, classroom methods, principles of teaching, and supervised student teachers. Barney has won many regional and national awards for his teaching and scholarship over his career.

Robert Yi was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States at the age of four. He received his MFA from American University, graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Foreign Affairs and the Corcoran College of Art & Design with a BFA.

Sisc Johnson joined the staff of the School of Art in 2023 as the Assistant Director of Operations and Business. Sisc graduated from George Mason University with a BFA in Photography.

Christopher Kardambikis explores space, process, and form through books, printmaking, and drawing. He has co-founded three artist book and zine projects: Encyclopedia Destructica in Pittsburgh, Gravity and Trajectory in San Diego, and 90 Proof Press in Los Angeles.

Dr. Sutters was a K-12 art educator in an urban school district for seven years and also taught for two years in São Paulo, Brazil. He completed his undergraduate and masters degree from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, attained his doctorate degree from the Ohio State University receiving national recognition for his dissertation.
