There are over 50+ metal and wood typefaces to choose from

The Letterpress Studio is fully equipped with two Vandercook presses and a hand-cranked platen press. Our presses can handle wood type, metal type, and photopolymer plates for quick and efficient printing of multiples and editions. Also housed within the Letterpress Studio is a Glowforge laser cutter which can cut multiple materials, as well as provide an alternative to etching and even custom typefaces for the Vandercook. The use of both analog and digital techniques within our studio provides the necessary interdisciplinary skills to navigate the contemporary field of art and design. Students enrolled in typeface design and letterpress techniques can use the studio freely.
