Admission is A One-Step Process
Admission into the undergraduate programs is achieved by applying to George Mason University through the Common Application, or directly through George Mason's online application. If your George Mason application is successful, you will also be admitted into the School of Art. The graduate programs have additional steps involved, including a portfolio in some cases.

The George Mason School of Art provides students with a rigorous curriculum, expert faculty, and access to state-of-the-art facilities.
The School of Art offers a wide range of programs from the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art and Visual Technology, the Bachelor Of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art and Visual Technology with a concentration in Studio Art, Bachelor Of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art and Visual Technology with a concentration in Graphic Design, and a graphic design certificate, to 3 accelerated master's programs, 3 graduate programs and a certificate, and 10 minors.
