- August 23, 2022Money Has No Smell is a group exhibition that presents works by three artists: Ignacio Gatica, Mariana Parisca, and Gabriella Torres-Ferrer. Curated by ACOMPI (Jack Radley and Constanza Valenzuela) and mentored by Rosario Güiraldes, the exhibition brings together recent works that trace flows of currency to and from the artists’ places of origin, in the process addressing the complexity of globalized and interdependent financial systems.
- August 12, 2022The Hansa Carrier accident caught the attention of Oceanographer Curtis Ebbesmeyer in May of 1990. Using the sneakers’ unique serial numbers, his research team gathered data from beachcombers who discovered shoes washing ashore through 1992.

- June 29, 2022Three artists were selected as part of a Call for Artists issued in 2020. Selected by members of the Hillyer’s Advisory Committee, these artists and their works encompass a range of themes and artistic approaches to enhance and broaden viewers’ understanding of contemporary art.
- June 7, 2022The 15 students in the special topics class Facial Reconstruction started the semester with a generic plastic skull. Week by week, they sculpted different parts of their own faces, creating a portrait of themselves in clay and learning the forensic skills needed to put a face on a skull.
