A fall 2023 survey revealed the following interesting facts about our alumni:
- 95% of our alumni are employed.
- 89% are employed in the art and design field and are working in an industry that is related to their AVT degree.
- Job titles include Art Specialist, Creative Manager, Art Teacher, Graphic Designer, Creative Strategist, Production Designer, Photographer, Design Patent Examiner, and Biophilic Design Specialist, to name a few.
- Our alumni are nationwide and global: from Maine to California, from Norway to Saudi Arabia.

MFA, expected date of graduation - 2026The wounds of combat have had a profound impact on Steven Luu. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, he is a survivor of the Communist oppression. For nearly 44 years, he was relocated to numerous places. BFA in Printmaking, George Mason University (alumnus)Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Patrick Sargent joined the military at age 17 to become a U.S. Air Force security policeman. In 2002, after twenty years of service, he prepared to retire from the military, and while completing his degree in political science an entry-level printmaking class changed his trajectory.MFA Printmaking, 2015
